I had a similar issue after updating the bios on my asus sabretooth z77 and the problem was fixed by installing the asus usb 3 power driver (The one that enables faster charging of devices) I would check to see if Gigabyte has a similar driver. I updated bios to the last f7, and now cant install windows 7. 2 restarts to only detect the usb stick. Usb 3 not working at all to install from there. I found this u tube video and made the iso with add usb driver. And now its even worse Windows dont even boot.
